Coronavirus and Social Distancing

Not knowing if the person next to you is a carrier is disheartening. Doctors believe people can infect others even though they have no symptoms. Anytime a carrier coughs, spits, sneezes, or speaks in public, he or she could propel the virus in the air. People nearby could breathe in the virus and become infected; this may be the reason to continue social distancing.

Around the country, rallies were supposedly held to gain their “freedom back.” Was that the case or was it for some political party agenda? Why weren’t the demonstrators practicing social distancing? Why would people expose themselves in this way? It’s been proven that social distancing works, so why are people rallying? Isn't life more important than going to the beach, a restaurant, or movie? Exploitation of life during this pandemic is selfish. If you must rally, use your phone and computer to contact your politicians to voice your concerns,

While people are at home, our local, state, and national political leaders should ensure a safe and healthy opening up of the Country. We can’t open businesses without a clear plan and policy. Does that mean wearing of masks is mandatory? What is the new norm for social gatherings? How do we go about testing everyone?
