Healthcare

Many people consider health care as an entitlement. Why do some people think that? Why shouldn’t everyone have the right to obtain health care?

After all, we don’t consider car insurance, home insurance, and life insurance as entitlements. People have choices and can buy these affordable insurances. Why is that?

There is something wrong with our value system. America seems to say that if you’re unhealthy, that’s an individual problem—not the government.

The Affordable Health Care Act isn’t perfect, but it was an attempt to give everyone the opportunity to have health care. Why can’t Congress fix what isn’t working with it?

It’s a shame that people have must suffer because of our lawmakers. They don’t care because it doesn’t affect their families, when it does, maybe then the people will see some changes made.
